The start of a perfect day
Catherine and Jack chose the beautiful Shustoke Barn in Sutton Coldfield for their wedding in early springtime. The venue, known for its rustic charm and natural light, was the perfect setting for their day.
Shustoke Barn added so much to Catherine and Jack’s wedding, making it not just memorable but truly special. Surrounded by countryside, its beauty, combined with the couple’s love, created a day we were extremely honoured to photograph.
Morning preparations at The Belfry Hotel
The morning began at the Belfry Hotel, where Catherine got ready alongside her bridesmaids, including her sister and Mother. Catherine and Jack both opened some beautiful gifts during their prep and a really lovely card from each other. The excitement and anticipation were clear to see, marking the start of a very special day.
Jack’s speech really was a highlight of the day, moving everyone with its depth and feeling. It was a touching moment that really moved us along with all the guests who shed quite a few tears.
A Flawless First Dance!
Their choreographed first dance was absolutely spectacular! It was possibly one of the most well-rehearsed routines that we have seen and it truly wowed everyone in the room. The dance classes they both take together have definitely paid off! It really showed how happy they both are and how well they work as a team.
Shustoke Barn’s Rustic Charm
As their wedding photographers, we were thrilled to capture the day at Shustoke Barn. Its stunning features, like the spacious interiors, large windows and rustic wood and brick really complimented each scene and special moment captured throughout the day. The barn’s mix of old charm with some modern touches helped make it both a cozy and elegant place for Catherine & Jack’s celebration. Their tables were dressed beautifully with candles and floral pieces and the room was accented with warm fairy lights.
